About Us
Early History of LuminEssence
LuminEssence Productions was founded in the early 1980s by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer. Sanaya had begun channeling Orin in the late 1970s, and a few years later, Duane began channeling DaBen. Together, they spent more than three decades producing books, audio courses, and seminars that introduced hundreds of thousands of people to higher consciousness and light body work.
Orin's teachings, channeled by Sanaya, and DaBen's light body work, channeled by Duane, became widely known through titles such as Living with Joy, Personal Power Through Awareness, and Spiritual Growth, along with the Awakening Your Light Body series the two developed together. LuminEssence served as the original vehicle for this body of work, publishing and distributing it for over thirty years.
Following Sanaya Roman's passing at the end of 2021, and Duane Packer's passing on August 2, 2023, the work originally offered through LuminEssence transitioned fully into the Orin DaBen Foundation, a nonprofit organization created to preserve and continue their teachings. The Foundation now stewards the full library of books, audio courses, and materials, honoring the founders' original vision while ensuring their teachings remain accessible for generations to come.
